swissbell hotel bali di nusa dua. it's a new hotel. since we rented an apmt, we cooked our own food. Halal food are available only at the fast food in kuta area. other than that is not recommended.

Saudara Hussain, My wife and I worked in Penang from 1984 to 1993. We were transferred to Penang from Terengganu and we left Penang because my family followed me to London, where I did my Masters. We first rented a house in Sg. Nibong opposite the then Tapak Pesta for less than 2 years I think before moving into the government quarters flats at Rose Avenue, 10350 Penang. I can't remember your uncle Dr. Ghafoor working at orthopedic Penang GH living there when we were there because otherwise we would have met him during the tarawih prayers held at the surau on the government quarters (flats) premise.
Don't tell me your mother was born in one of the government quarters along Rose Avenue.....i.e. it would be possible if your mother's parents were working with the government before
Anyway, we always make it a point to pass by Rose Avenue whenever we are in Penang for several days! Wonderful memories there!
